The portable DAB-DGPS
receivers were also
developed by us.

technologies for several public
transportation companies in
order to save costs by moving
certain services to DAB.
Munich 2004:
Deutsche Staedtereklame
was supported in connecting
outdoor displays to DAB.
Madrid 2001:
The Instituto Grográfico Nacional
was provided with DAB reception
technology and know-how for their
DGPS trials.
Expo 2000, Hannover:
Jointly with Digitalradio Nord
we supported Volkswagen in
bringing their "motion one"
DAB data service on the air.
We also developed specific car
software that integrates
DAB data service reception
into a car DVB-T platform.
Paris 2000, Mondial de
l'automobile:
We supported the French motorway
operator Cofiroute and
Télédiffusion de France
(TDF) with DAB reception
technology to convey interactive
traffic services via PAD and
packet data. During the
exhibition the DAB services were
shown on touchscreen terminals
and on the navigation system of a
Renault Espace car. The car's DAB
software was also developed
by Esslinger.
