Receivers for DAB-DGPS

Because DAB-DGPS receivers are used on mobile rovers, they must show excellent sensitivity, be light-weighted and must obey a low power design.

Pictured on the right are some typical applications for professional GPS equipment.

The variety among the GPS receivers requires an intelligent DAB-DGPS receiver design, allowing to cope with the different command protocols and power supplies given by the GPS devices.

The DAB-DGPS receivers used within the Belgian WALCORS network are based upon our CDR20 receiver board concept. Key functionality of this receiver is software-defined. Thus new features (like RTK support) or implementing different command protocols are just a matter of firmware. The hardware remaining unchanged, choosing a CDR20-based receiver is a safe investment even if your DGPS environment changes.

Tools supplied with the CDR20 receiver allow service monitoring and delay measurements, which is particularly important for Differential GPS. There is no need to buy separate data service analysis tools.
