Available for your download is PADView752, a PAD decoder and DAB signal analyzer for the DAB 752 professional receiver.

PADView provides the following key features: Philips DAB 752 professional receiver

  • Decodes and displays Dynamic Labels and MOT objects (slide show images, file transfer)
  • Displays technical details for  the PAD stream and on the decoding process (CRC errors, MOT header parameters, repetition information, and other)
  • Supports "broadcast website"
  • Enables you to record Dynamic Labels, optionally together with a timestamp
  • Provides a fullscreen PAD display mode
  • Displays synchronisation state, signal quality and channel impulse response.


    PADView professional additionally enables you to: 

  • Display Transmitter Identification Information (TII)
  • Display the tuner's AGC levels for IF, VHF and L band
  • Automatically log TII and other signal-related data to a file.

PADCodec

The Philips PDE 452 test transmitter is supported by our PAD inserter application, named "PADCodec". PADCodec lets you generate a Programme Associated Data stream which is fed into the PDE and transmitted along the audio service.

PADCodec supports the following key features:

  • Direct interfacing to the PDE 452 (RS-232 link)
  • Generating and editing PAD schedules (playlists)
  • Encoding of Dynamic Labels (periodically or individually according to the schedule)
  • Encoding of slide show images
  • Accepting any kind of files to be conveyed via MOT
  • Variation of MOT encoding parameters, like e.g. repetition count, repetition type (on object level / on datagroup level), datagroup size, the different MOT header parameters
