DABRadio supports:

  • Receiver control and service selection
  • PAD decoding, including slide show images and web sites,
  • Packetmode decoding, including Broadcast Website and any kind of MOT objects,
  • Realtime MPEG audio decoding.
DABRadio: Multiplex configuration information (MCI) window DABRadio is furthermore capable of displaying a wide range of internal DAB data, like e.g. multiplex configuration information (on the left) and details on the received data stream (below).
DABRadio: Window showing information on the decoding process The "decoder information" window shows e.g. CRC errors, received data objects, object repetitions and a variety of transmission parameters.
A modified DABRadio build for the Philips DAB752 receiver ("PADView752") is available in our download area.
Note that due to certain limitations of the DAB752 receiver, PADView752 cannot decode packetmode data (solely PAD) and cannot decode MPEG audio.

See the next page for data service encoding components.
